Frequently Asked Questions

-What Vaccines Are Required For My Dog? We require Rabies, DHPP (or other Distemper combo), and Bordetella (kennel cough). Bordetella must be administered at a minimum 14 days prior to staying with us.

-Will My Pup Be Able To Play With Other Pups During Their Stay? Yes! All play-time/outside time is supervised at all times, so as long as your dog is dog friendly, and passes our temperament evaluation to make sure they're comfortable in a play group, they'll have plenty of play time!

-How Can I Check On My Dog During Their Stay? We do our very best to be proactive and send you updates, as well as post photos to our social media pages. If you ever want to check in in-between our updates, you're more than welcome to text/call us and ask!

-What Should I Bring For My Pups' Stay? All we absolutely need is enough food for their stay! If you want to bring any toys, blanets, bowls, etc., you're more than welcome to, but it's not necessary, as we provide all of that as well! Completely your choice.

-What Does A Typical Day Look Like For Training? Our Board & Train pups are trained an average of 3 times per day depending on our schedule and their energy level. By the end of a training day, all pups are feeling the effects of a busy day's work and ready for some down time and a nap!

-What Training Package Would Be Best For Me? The main point to make here is, regardless of which option may fit you best, training NEEDS to continue after a session or B&T program. Training is much like learning a new behavior for humans; if you're trying to learn a new behavior or change an old behavior, it takes consistency. And if you stop implementing the changes, you fall back on your old behaviors and slightly regress. It's the same thing with dogs, you need to be consistent otherwise the old behaviors will surface before the new behaviors have become set in stone. Head over to our Training Page to get info on which may suit your needs!
